In The Sky IT was founded in 2019 as a small, one-man, operation providing cloud solutions expertise to Microsoft Gold Partner consultancy's who needed to fill gaps in their talent pools for large and complex Digital Transformation projects.

After spending most of my career, including the first few years of In The Sky's existence, delivering projects for enterprise-scale corporate clients, I knew it was time for a change. I wanted the creative freedom of running my own business. So, In November 2024, inspired by my faith and my friends to make a change in my life, I took the first steps to change In The Sky's business model from Cloud Consultancy for multi-national corporations to a IT Consultancy provider for the many small businesses in and around Manchester.

In The Sky IT is committed to collaboration with and support of small business owners who have the vision and skills to deliver their businesses primary service but find technology a barrier to success where it should be an enabler.

At In The Sky IT, we aim to provide a single point of contact for small businesses without dedicated IT departments or whose in-house IT is small and overwhelmed by daya-to-day tasks. A new venture for us, In The Sky Events is an Events Management company devoted to developing and organising high quality immersive gaming events.

We design and deliver high-quality immersive gaming experiences for corporate teams, private groups, clubs, societies and youth organisations. Whether you are looking for a team-building event that people will still be talking about six months later, a private party with something more substantial at its centre than a playlist and a bar tab, or a multi-day residential adventure for a group that takes its fun seriously, we build experiences that meet you where you are and take you somewhere memorable.

Our events draw on the rich traditions of tabletop roleplaying, LAN gaming, megagame design and live-action storytelling. Every experience we run is built around a central game, whether that is a campaign of Dungeons and Dragons or Call of Cthulhu, a large-scale political megagame, an organised LAN event or a murder mystery with real teeth to it. Around that core, we layer theatrical sound and lighting, custom set dressing, specialist catering and trained actors to create an atmosphere that makes the game feel real from the moment guests arrive.

We are proud to be delivering experiences for attendees of Camp Wildfire, and from 2026 we will be partnering with The Social Gathering Company to bring standalone gaming events to some of the most atmospheric and distinctive venues across the UK.

We work with groups of all sizes and experience levels. You do not need to have ever picked up a d20 or touched a keyboard to get the most out of what we do. You just need to show up ready to play.
